Who we are

An independent design studio creating work that is clear, thoughtful and difficult to forget.

Unmatched Graphics works across books, editorial design, brand identities, publications and visual communication. We approach every project as its own visual problem — not as another template waiting to be filled.

Our work begins with understanding. What is the idea? Who is it speaking to? What should someone feel before they understand what they are seeing?

From there, design becomes more than appearance. It becomes structure, character and communication.

Our Story

2022

It started with one designer, one desk and a belief that design could mean more.

Unmatched Graphics began in 2022 as an independent freelance design practice founded by Shiven Pratap Singh.

What started with individual design assignments gradually grew through books, publications, brand identities, editorial projects and long-term creative collaborations.

As the work became larger and more multidisciplinary, Unmatched Graphics evolved beyond a freelance practice into an independent design studio — working with authors, publishers, organisations, institutions and brands across different areas of visual communication.

The scale has changed. The principle has not: understand the idea first, then design what it genuinely needs.

Founder · Creative Director

Shiven Pratap Singh is a designer, creative director and visual storyteller who founded Unmatched Graphics in 2022.

His work moves across publication design, visual identities, illustration and creative direction — with storytelling at the centre of how ideas are translated into visual form.

Beyond the studio, his practice extends into photography and filmmaking, documenting people, places, culture and the quieter stories found between them.
