Sahbhagita.
An editorial system designed to bring stories, people and information together within one coherent publication.
More than pages.
A system for
stories.
Sahbhagita is a magazine publication designed by Unmatched Graphics for Vedanta Group.
The project brought together multiple stories, photographs, information and editorial elements within a consistent visual framework.
Our role was to create an editorial language capable of giving every story its own presence while ensuring that the publication continued to feel like one cohesive magazine from beginning to end.
Structure the information.
Give the story room.
Consistency without making every page look the same.
The magazine required a flexible system rather than one repeating template. Grid, typography and hierarchy created consistency while changes in image scale, composition and pacing allowed individual stories to retain their own character.
Hierarchy
Clear relationships between headlines, introductions, body copy, captions and supporting information.
Rhythm
A considered sequence of dense and open layouts keeps the publication visually engaging across pages.
Imagery
Photography becomes part of the editorial narrative rather than simply filling available space.
Good editorial design
doesn't compete with
the story.
It helps you enter it.
From content to coherent publication.
Every part of the magazine was considered as part of a wider editorial system — allowing information, imagery and stories to work together across the publication.
A magazine that feels structured without feeling static.
Sahbhagita demonstrates our approach to editorial design: building enough structure to make a publication coherent while leaving enough flexibility for individual stories, photographs and information to breathe.
