Designing for Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2024 at Lekhak Gaon

The Brief

At Unmatched Graphics, we had the privilege of designing the complete visual identity for Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2024—a prestigious two-day international festival celebrating literature, culture, and art at the iconic Lekhak Gaon, Dehradun. This cultural event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, the Governor of Uttarakhand, and was initiated by none other than Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', Hon'ble Former Education Minister of India. The festival served as a platform for launching translated literary works from regional languages and honored prominent writers from the Himalayan belt.

What We Delivered:

Our role in the project was to bring this vibrant and meaningful event to life through compelling design solutions. We were entrusted with:

• -Social Media Creatives: A series of clean, culturally rooted visuals that promoted the event online and connected deeply with literature and Himalayan heritage.
• -Event Banners: Designed for stage backdrops and installations, balancing elegance with a mountainous, serene aesthetic.
• -Brochure Design: Informative and beautifully laid-out print brochures covering event schedules, guest introductions, and thematic details in both Hindi and English.

Every visual element was crafted with sensitivity to Himalayan culture, using motifs of mountains, scripts, and literature-based symbolism to align with the tone of the event.

A Milestone Collaboration:

Working on Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2024 wasn’t just a design task—it was a cultural contribution. The creative direction was guided and approved by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal himself, whose vision for celebrating regional literature inspired our design language. It was a moment of immense pride for us to see our designs shared on stage with such respected leaders and intellectuals.
